PROFILE_
Pruett Fedorowicz is a Computer Science and Applied Math student at Vanderbilt University, graduating in 2028. He has worked two summers at York Space Systems, returning to develop spacecraft testing tools and AI infrastructure. His technical interests include space, defense, and robotics, particularly autonomous systems. In his free time, he follows college football and Formula 1, and is working toward hiking as many national parks as possible.
EXPERIENCE_
Built a containerized spacecraft test KPI platform — REST API, Celery workers, MongoDB, React frontend — and designed the end-to-end system architecture around multiple departments' needs. Returned for a second summer to integrate it with flight and ground software across six missions, automating regression tracking, and cut test data pipeline latency 500x through SQL tuning and refactoring to enable live run monitoring. Pioneered AI-assisted development workflows and infrastructure for CUI environments, shortening feature delivery from roughly a week to hours.
Elected Vice President overseeing all internal operations of a 120+ member professional engineering fraternity chapter, serving concurrently as interim President following an executive vacancy. Appointed and directed 25+ officers across recruitment, service, and events, carrying the chapter to three national awards in a single semester: Professional Development, Social Media, and Photography. Hosted 180+ attendees with Oracle, The Boring Company, and the U.S. Air Force. Led the chapter to its highest dues collection in over a decade.
Built computational physics models for Helios Mk.I IEC fusion reactor. Simulated performance and tested new reactor geometry.
Founded and ran a powerwashing venture. Built custom bidding model, service request form, and sales and scheduling process. Supervised job sites and managed client interactions.
